Goal: Don’t Die

• Don’t Die is a roguelike played over a series of encounters which include battles fought with dice, risky decisions, and opportunities to acquire rare power ups.
• After every battle, you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade a Die by adding a new Side to it, making that die stronger. However, with each upgrade, you decrease the consistency of that die. So choose wisely.
• There are 4 checkpoints across 2 chapters. Complete both chapters with the highest score possible! In the Tournament mode, your main decision will be which checkpoint to stop at… for going further may cause your death.

This is a turn-based auto-battler where your 4 dice are rolled and resolved in order, attacking baddies from left to right, front to back. If the baddies are alive at the end of your turn, they will have a turn. This continues until you have killed the baddies or the baddies have killed you.

You can re-arrange your dice at any time! Click the die symbol and then drag to re-arrange.

While fighting, you’ll come across 5 main modifiers which could impact you or the baddies.

If you come up against a tough fight, eat some Food - one-time consumables that make you much stronger for the battle.

Trinkets are permanent passive items that you can acquire in the game. They’re very strong and can shape your run.
